Power-ups are special items that alter gameplay in the Blasterball series. They usually appear when certain blocks are destroyed, and float down to the bottom of the screen for the player to obtain (or ignore if the player wants to). However, powerups can be dropped by bosses, like the inertia powerup. There is a wide variety of power-ups found in the Blasterball series.
Types of Powerups[]
Good[]
These types of Powerups usually make the game easier for the player. In Blasterball 2: Revolution, these are represented by a Capital letter with 2 colored, rotating, bean-shaped rods behind it. In Blasterball 3, they are only represented by a Capital letter with a spinning solid green circle behind it.
Bad[]
These usually make the game more challenging for the player. These take the same shape of a good powerup. In Blasterball 3, they are represented by a Capital letter with a spinning solid red circle behind it.
Neutral[]
These are a new type of powerup introduce in Blasterball 3. As the name suggests, these powerups don't really alleviate the game or make the game harder for the player, and stays in between. These, like the bad Powerups, have the same shape as any other Powerup. They are represented by a capital letter with a spinning solid yellow circle behind it.
